Hi there,

My site uses both non-recurring and recurring subscription plans, where non-recurring plans are more expensive. The idea is to encourage subscribers to subscribe to recurring plans.

However, we are finding that many of the subscribers are "cheating" by subscribing to the cheaper recurring plans, then cancelling it so that it doesn't recur.

In our terms of agreement, we state that those cancelling will have their accounts immediately cancelled as well.

So I am wondering how I can achieve this with Payplans.

Please advise?

Sincerely,
Ray Lee
Hello Ray,

When Recurring payment cancelled then , in payplans order also marked as cancelled and further recurring payments will not charged anymore and subscription will get expire on the date (expiration date as per last payment).

In our terms of agreement, we state that those cancelling will have their accounts immediately cancelled as well.
In Payplans order will be marked as cancel , subscription will get expire on specific expiration date set by previous payment.
You want to to expire the subscriptions immediately when they cancel the subscription ?

Update me or correct me if i misunderstood.

Hi Manisha,

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, you understood me perfectly. I would like the subscriptions to expire immediately when recurring subscriptions get cancelled.

Any way I can achieve this?

Sincerely,
Ray Lee

Any way I can achieve this?
To expire the subscription after cancellation it will require significant changes in code.
