Prevent Sending Notification Mail To Already Logged in Users

Hi Guys,

Yesterday some of my users were sending messages to eachother. I realised that ther are mor then 300 notification mails about messages for them. lol that is a big issue. it means mor then nearly 1000 unneeded mesaages at leats. It also can prompt spaming issue. So must be turn of notification mails for already logged in users
There is a feature request for this situation, you will see it when you go to VOICES.

Hi Gokhan,

Just to understand better, do you mean when the two users who messaging each other, should not get notifications since this two users are already logged into the site?

Yes mostly problem with messaging but also other notifications too. I was checking e-mail notifications a few days ago and saw that my users were online and sending messages to eachother. There were also more then 200 notification mails for these users. That is a big issue Because when a user logged in, user can already see notifications, there is no need sending notification mails for a seen notification for all situation
