Hello I wanted to know if there is a way to prevent bloggers from posting to a category but allow them to post to the categories - subcategory?

Sorry for late reply to this,
That was not possible because the main category already set is not allow to this blogger to create a blog post, so which child categories under the main category is not able to allow the blogger create the blo g post.
I'm sorry for that make you confusing here.
What my meaning is if you set this Main category ( http://screencast.com/t/uBs70T2u ) disallow the blogger have a permission to select this category and create this category blog post, Which mean that the child category ( http://screencast.com/t/keVTbJpd ) is under this main category then the blogger will not have permission to select this child category for create the post.
