Hi, i'm importing some RSS feeds but sometimes the "supplier" post doesn't come with the post cover (they have the cover but rss/easyblog don't capture it). I would like to know if it's possible to prevent Easyblog to import and publish these posts.

Thank you,
Renato C.
Hi Renato C.,

I'm quite confuse here, do the rss post do have the image in the content? if yest, you can enable the setting: http://take.ms/OcJSm
if the rss post doesn't have any image at all, we cannot prevent it from import into EasyBlog.

Yes, this option is set to on. Some posts of them come with the cover, but some of them don't... In their website they always have a post cover, but the rss not always come with it or easyblog don't detect it... The best option would be to prevent to post it, but if there's no option to prevent... I'll have to keep with this...

Another solution would be: Can I set a default image if the rss don't detect one? It would be also a workaround solution...

Can you provide us with the rss feed link so we can tried this issue locally.

Unfortunately, there is no option for this currently. However, this is a great idea, perhaps, you can create a ticket under feature request so our developer can keep track feature that might be can implement in the future.

Hi Renato,

Seems like the feeds doesn't have media enclosure tag to get the image to be cover photo: http://take.ms/Xp9La
where if there is media enclosure tag (eg: http://take.ms/jehiO ) only it can import the image to be cover image
