Hi, my site only has 1 blogger (me) and I dont want my published posts visbale unless I have published them. I would prefer someone not to be able to browse by blogger posts - for instance mysite.com/blogs/blogger/user?start=136

How can I block this?
Hi Urzh,

Hi, my site only has 1 blogger (me) and I dont want my published posts visbale unless I have published them.

-> This inquiry quite confusing to me Do you mean, once you write a blog post and click on publish button you don't want it to publish it yet? Unfortunately, it is not possible currently. Perhaps you can save it as a draft, or make visibility to 'only me' when publish a blog post.

I would prefer someone not to be able to browse by blogger posts - for instance http://mysite.com/blogs/blogger/user?start=136

-> Unfortunately, there is no setting to block user from access the blogger post currently.

Hi, sorry for the confusion.

I simply do not want someone to browse posts under my blogger account. However, if I publish a post it should only be seen on the menu item I have published it on.

I would rather block people from browsing posts under my blogger name...because posts I don't feature I do not want visible to general public (but it is OK in Google index).

I hope this is more clear. Thanks

Hi Urzh,

Sorry for late reply, and thanks for the clear description given.
Perhaps you can display the page as none? So it will shows blank page.
Can you download the attached file below and paste in the folder:
.../components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/authors/item.php
and see how it goes?

You're suggested to backup the file that you want to customize beforehand for precaution

Hi, I will try this. By the way, is "display as none" an option in the backend?

Hi, the item.php works well! It allows me to cycle between pages but no posts show up - so this is great. Is there a way to create an override for this so on new easyblog update it does not override? Thank you

You could create a template override for this under /templates/JOOMLA_TEMPLATE/html/com_easyblog/authors/item.php
