Hi - firstly so glad I found your component Easy Blog - it works so nicely out of the box and it has been a dream to set up!

I am working on a friend's website for him and I would like to make the back-end as simple as possible. He prefers to use the JCK editor and has the JCK Explorer plugin enabled (allowing him to edit images from the browser window). He has requested that Easy Blog sees the JCK Explorer plugin on setting the blog image rather than the inbuilt media manager. Is this possible at all? If so, how do you go about enabling it?

And I know that it will work in the main editor window, but it is for the link to set the blog image that he's keen on.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for your time in advance,

Lewis
Hello Lewis,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

For the blog image, I am sorry but currently EasyBlog do not support other editor. If you want to add blog image, you will need to do it with EasyBlog media manager. Joomla editors only work in content section

Hope this help and have a nice day

Hi Sam,

Thanks for the reply. Can I add this as a suggestion for a future EasyBlog release (maybe a switch in the backend that allows media manager or default joomla or other e.g. JCK Explorer to be used for blog image?)

Kind regards,

Lewis

Hello Lewis,

Sure, of course but it would be better if you suggested this in JCK's forum because in order to support EasyBlog blog images in JCK, the code needs to be implanted on JCK's Explorer Unless there's some sort of hook / plugin system that JCK offers.
