Hi I'm looking at easy social and currently using jom social and wanted to know if your component does the following.

- Does it allow for member filtering, for example like personal attribute like hair color, eye color, height, geographic location etc... without page refresh using ajax. And will it remember the filter for the next visit (via cookie)

- Can the member list be customized to look more like a directory core file hacking with the custom fields listed in it?
- I wan to use this component as a social directory.

- Can the activities stream be removed completely (jom social you have to hack the core files)

Thank you for your interest in EasySocial! Please find the answers to your inquiries below:

This is not possible currently but in EasySocial 1.2 we will be adding advanced search for members. This allows you to add additional specific search criterias.

I guess as long as you are able to customize the theme file, you should be able to achieve this.

Unfortunately you can't really remove activity stream but why would you want to do that The idea of EasySocial is to allow site owners to build a social network site which also includes the stream
