Hello I am thinking on purchasing PayPlans and I have one question before doing that.
Can Payplans 4.x when user purchase paid membership be set to assign user points to JomSocial user upon completed payment for membership selected.

If it can can you describe the procedure so I can better comprehend the flow of it.

Thank you!
I am sorry but unfortunately it is not possible to integrate with Jomsocial points currently but PayPlans 4 does have built-in integration with EasySocial points and Alta User points.

Hello Mark, thank you for your answer.
I am already familiar with possibility to add user points with EasySocial but unfortunately there is no possibility for the use of ES at this moment.

I want to hear your opinion Mark on this approach:
I have read documentation related to PayPlans and found that it has mysql query option available.
Here is the link: sql query
And used this for the additional info:
JomSocial user points docs
And with it it should be possible to add user points to the user upon paying for membership in question with database query execution and add points to the user upon registration. But the only thing that worries me is will it be accurate 100% and function without a fault.

Because I am not giving up on PayPlans as it looks and feel right for the job.

What are your thoughts on this approach?

Thank you!

Hey Goran,

Hm, looking through the documentation, it seems like it does not permit mysql query and it requires a new rule to be created on jomsocial first, thereafter some php codes needs to be executed to trigger this new rule.

It seems like you need to have a dedicated app for points to be added and a new rule to be added into jomsocial.
