Hey stackideas I just have to save love you all I've been out a couple of days this week drumming up sponsors for an event site servicing a charitable fundraising event. These are businesses who know nothing about setting up a Joomla website (neither do I ) but they know all about what could make them successful: driving engagement with customers in a niche social community that just looks and acts perfectly awesome and can integrate with other social network channels they use.

These customers love what you've developed. Thank you!
You guys make my job so easy! Thank you!

Can't wait to turn my "main project" website on and start selling my other offering with ES as a community for my customers.

Also can't wait for Events!!!

Time to write my review in Joomla!
Been waiting years and years for something like what the Stacked team has to offer. Joomla now is overwhelmingly my #1 choice of software thanks to you guys. Wordpress and Drupal and others like it have potential for sure, but I have yet to see a extension of any CMS like EasySocial! I know you guys are getting very busy and still have a lot of work ahead of yourselves, I just wanted to say how much we appreciate your work. I tell people in person that I'm working with some of the best software folks on the entire market! Since I was 15 years old I had a dream of making one of the best mountaineering sites ever, now I am more certain of that dream than ever before! You guys have made my day over and over, and am glad to be standing by the stacked team's side to have the best social software that is installable on thousands of web sites. It's not just the fact that you guys are good at what you do that is inspiring, but the dedication you folks put into your support and the hundreds of fixes that are made all the time. Keep rocking guys, EasySocial will go very far!

BTW, just thought I'd throw in two comments I've wanted to tell you guys. The new logo design for ES 1.2 is pretty slick! The word choice on the stackidea's ES 1.2 banner is also my kind of style.

Hey guys,

Thank you so much for this, we really needed this To be honest, we have been getting overwhelming response with EasySocial 1.2 especially and we're really satisfied with what we have achieved so far but moving forward, we would like to properly plan this so that we wouldn't stumble and fall.

By the way, if you guys are using EasySocial, do post a review for EasySocial here, http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/clients-a-communities/communities/25616

This would definitely motivate the team!

Thanks again guys!

I have said many times how much the work you guys do is appreciated and I submitted my review a few weeks back (it's the loooong one)!

I can imagine that after the work you did on 1.2, it could well be hard to push on, but please do! This is already a fantastic project and it's good to see that others are appreciating it.

Keep it coming!

Update: I've sent a support ticket through Joomla support Forum. I'll post how we fix this here, just in case anyone else has problems posting reviews.

My review was rejected by Joomla they stated that my IP was listed on one of our IP blocklists; SBL, XBL or PBL. Hmmm.

I'm from the USA and use a popular broadband and telecommunications company named Verizon. Apparently that company has the following policy, and this policy appears to have the unintended affect to restrict anyone who uses Verizon to connect to the Internet to write a review on Joomla Any ideas how I can, via legitimate means, write my review according to Joomla's Terms of Service ? I was going to go to my library, but they also use Verizon. I could send my review to a friend to post, but that would violate Joomla's policy. Here's a copy of Verizon's policy which is reported by spamhaus reproduced here:

Outbound Email Policy of Verizon Online for this IP range:

It is the policy of Verizon Online that unauthenticated email sent from this IP address should be sent out only via the designated outbound mail server allocated to Verizon Online customers. [editorial note: I wonder if this is mostly intended to encourage/require the use of Verizon e-mail rather than that of competitors.] To find the hostname of the correct mail server to use, customers should consult the original signup documentation or contact Verizon Online Technical Support.

Removal Procedure

Removal of IP addresses within this range from the PBL is not allowed by the netblock owner's policy.

Eileen, let a friend post it!

Send it to me, I'll post it. It's written by you, so it's not like it's fraud or anything!

They rejected my review three times for the most bizarre reasons before I had to write asking what was going on. If I were the suspicious type, I would be thinking someone there does not want Stackideas to succeed!

Hello guys,

You can always submit a ticket at JED here, http://extensions.joomla.org/index.php?option=com_maqmahelpdesk&Itemid=0&id_workgroup=1&task=workgroup_view if you are facing problems. You can also utilize the JED forums at http://forum.joomla.org/viewforum.php?f=262

I don't want to create any problems so since I have already submitted a ticket as suggested by Mark to Joomla I'll await their reply and use the "normal channels". But my friend Mark H I do want to Thank You for offering to post for me. For anyone curious here's my review, hopefully new prospective customers will see it in the Joomla forums soon.

Your review was:
=======
Without Any Reservations or Hesitations
I wholeheartedly endorse this product as it has exceeded my needs, desires and expectations in each of these areas:

1) level of support received

2) ease of usage and deployment

3) attention to the voice of the customer to inform the product roadmap

The above is an understatement. They are so good at what they do, they inspire me to do more. Most importantly, MY customers, who use their software as integrated into my site, are delighted and excited about being part of a niche social community that rivals all others.

If you are a developer looking to do even more integration/extension then you will love the attention to detail and forward thinking approach this company has taken. Look at the API for building Apps, read the forums on their plans for REST API capability, check out the rich area for accessing and integrating with the stream, profiles, and too much to mention in a brief review.

Let's see. They're liked by my site's end-users, by me as an administrator of a site, and by me as a developer wanting to create a particular industry solution integrating cloud components. They must be doing many things pretty darn well to be pleasing each type of user.

I've been using the CMS since it was called Mambo. Nothing too extreme but I've seen enough extensions to discern among those who stand alone and that's this company. There are other very good folks, many of them are already working with stackideas, but stackideas is on top. My 2 cents more? I think the rising tide they're creating is lifting Joomla as well.

Thank You stackideas!

FYI, I am also using now or have in the past all of their other products.
