Hi... Looking at possibly buying PayPlans. 2 quick questions I couldn't see from the demo if they were possible or not:

1) Can I have a plan that runs between set dates... I have a membership year for example.. can people become a 2019 member at any time in 2019 - but regardless of when they join, it'll expire on Dec 31st.

2) On the checkout can you get rid of the "Personal or Business Use" question and the Country selection? All my customers are in one tax free location - so the use and the country will both be redundant fields I wouldn't want to bother them with.

Thanks!
Hi Andy,

The subscription period will only show after payment completed. I have checked the demo site and found that you had checked out the subscription with offline payment method. So in case offline payment method, admin need to verify the payment and need to mark invoice paid from backend to complete the payment and then subscription will become active. As invoice is still in pending state , therefore you are not able to view the subscription period. I have marked the invoice paid from backend, could you check again at the demo site whether you are able to view the subscription period now?

Hi Andy,

Thank you for your interest in PayPlans! Kindly please find the response to your questions below. I have also attached several attachments below so that you get a clearer picture.

1) Can I have a plan that runs between set dates... I have a membership year for example.. can people become a 2019 member at any time in 2019 - but regardless of when they join, it'll expire on Dec 31st.

> Yes, it's possible to show the plan between a specific date range as well expire on fixed dates. But it will applicable for fixed plan only (one time payment).

2) On the checkout can you get rid of the "Personal or Business Use" question and the Country selection? All my customers are in one tax free location - so the use and the country will both be redundant fields I wouldn't want to bother them with.

> Yes, it's also possible. You need to disable this from backend PayPlans >> Settings >> Invoice, find Show Billing details and set it to no.

Hope this helps!

Thank you - This is very helpful. I tried it on the demo and one follow-up question:

I set the plan to expire on Dec 31st - but the subscription period shows on both the 'plans' and 'purchases' views on the front-end as "Life-Time" which is a bit misleading. I'd prefer if it showed the expiry date! Any way to achieve this?

Hi Andy,

Have you set the plan into a forever plan or fixed plan? If it is fixed plan, it will enable you to set the expiration time which you want to display on the plan (for example 1 year). Otherwise, it will show as 'life time' if it is forever plan. Please refer to the attachments for a clearer picture.

Thanks Sinyee!

I understand that better now and got that working in the demo. The only thing I notice then is that if you set an expiry date on a fixed term plan (so a one year plan but with a Dec 31st expiry) then on the front-end "my purchases" type screen it shows "Subscription Period" but then nothing - presumably it should say "To Dec 31st" to acknowledge the fixed end date?

If the system hasn't reset, you can see this on the PayPlans demo site by logging in as Blair Campbell and looking at the Professional Plan under purchases which I set to expire Dec 31st.
