Posts view in a category

hi Stackideas,

I have created a menu that displays categories of RSS feed .when that category is selected, it will display the list of posts (fig 1 & fig 1b). These lists of posts contain intro text which I don't want (fig 2b). I only need the title. but I could not find a setting for adjusting these posts view in the category. it got only setting for the entry layout setting at the post level.(fig 2) please help!!

Unfortunately, we dont have this feature currently. But it would be best if you can submit a feature request regarding this issues by creating a new ticket on the forums and set it to "Feature Request", so everyone else could vote for it, the more people request on this, and we will priority consider it.

Thank you for your reply.it is really unfortunate! missing this feature Can I ask if there is another way to display only the titles of posts in a given category(menu, module,....)? And related to this, how can i auto post these items of the given category(fig 1b) for only a specific page in EasySocial? the subscription looks like sending to email.

Can I ask if there is another way to display only the titles of posts in a given category(menu, module,....)?

It would be best if you can ask for this feature on forums first as it will be required quite a modification on the core files. By the way, maybe you can try to apply attached files at this path template/current_template/html/com_easyblog/blogs/latest/default.main.php and see how it goes.

And related to this, how can i auto post these items of the given category(fig 1b) for only a specific page in EasySocial? the subscription looks like sending to email.

We also unable to achieve this as it will autoposted to Easysocial if there are any post created on Easyblog.
