1. I duplicate the 'Template for News' and name it 'Template for Z1NZ News'.
2. I edit the layout of 'Template for Z1NAZ News' and click blue button 'Update Template'
3. After a few minutes, I edit the layout of the 'Template for Z1NAZ News' again and the template is BLANK.

Not only is the original 'duplicated' fields now gone, but my modifications to the template are gone. It's just a BLANK template.

I did this several times with the same results. The first time I edit the layout, the blocks may still be there, but never on the second try and only waiting a few minutes between each edit.

I am using the built-in EasyBlog composer.
Hello Sam,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I tried to reproduce this issue on your site and I have duplicated a template called "Template for News 2", edited it and renamed the template.

When I try to edit the layout, again it seems to be working fine for me.

P/S: I have disabled the duplicated template which I have created earlier to avoid any confusions from your users.

I am able to duplicate the issue every time by following the below steps:

1. Duplicate a template
2. Edit Layout and change something. I added a media block at the top of the page, but it doesn't matter what you change.
3. Update the template to save and exit
4. Click the 'Title' of your new template and change the name, or just save and close the template.
5. Go back in to edit the layout again.
6. The template will now be BLANK.

I did this same process multiple times and the template is BLANK every time, so the issue seems to occur AFTER you edit and save the title of the template.

HI Sam,

It seems that i still cannot replicate them on your local and mine as well. Maybe you can check on my new duplicated template on your site, it is shown correctly and not blank page, that is 'Another test for Template for News' and 'Testing for News'.

Please advice,

I can no longer reproduce the issue either. I'm also a little worried putting a lot of work into a design and have it go blank again, but it appears to be OK right now. I liked the old version that allowed you to 'save as' template and I could use any editor I wanted. Maybe consider adding this back in future releases.

I really appreciate you trying to figure this out over a weekend. It shows that you guys are dedicated to supporting the users and why I will always use your software. THANK YOU!

Hello Sam,

Thanks for updating me on this but it's strange though. If you ever encountered stuffs like this again, please do let us know so that we can hunt this bugger down. Bugs like this are the most difficult one as we cannot replicate and fix the bug

Hi Andre,

I am unable to replicate this in my local instance.

Can you start a new thread for this so I can help you investigate on your site?

Thanks.
