Hello,

I just istalled easyblog latest version in a new web using J3.4.4 and I found something I do not like in the URL created by the menu item “(posts Frontpage) Display recent posts created on the site”

When users click on menu item named “Blog” they get this URL:

http://mysite.com/blog?view=latest

I got other sites using older versions of easy blog and the URL created is:

http://mysite.com/blog

I want the same in the latest version (/blog)

How can I fix it?
Hey Antoniosan,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Hello,

My hosting provider has lot of firewall and I have to start a process in order to ask them to remove them.

Is any way to check this without access data?

PS. When users click on menu item named “Blog” they get this URL:

mysite.com/blog?view=latest (in my first message it seems like duplicated.)

Hey there,

I don't seem to see any "Blog" menu on your site. Am I missing anything here?

Yes you are.

The link to the blog menu is on the very bottom.

But if you want it on the main menu, I will put it in 1 minute.

Thanks for your help.

Where is the menu item on the site? I don't see the "Blog" menu in the menu manager. By the way, the top menu seems to be correct?

Mmmm.

I think I found the problem.

I created blog menu item and then put it in a hidden menu in order to put it on a texl link, so I link from hidden menu--> Blog so the hiperlink on text was mysite.com/blog?view=latest

But if I put link using alll path URL it works fine.

I thought that linking text directly to menu items or content will create SEF URLs but I see not.

Thanks for your help.

Hey,

You need to actually use the front page layout to link to the front page of EasyBlog
