When I complete a blog post the password protection field is completed by default and hence the blog cannot be read by the public,

I have to remember to clear this field every time I post, is there a setting to ensure it is not completed automatically?
Hey Martin,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is actually a public day off for us here. The only work around for this is to not use a password field type in the password input. We have already updated this behavior to just use a text input for the password field. Are you on the latest version of EasyBlog?

Hey Martin,

Thanks for updating! Remember to clear your cache too, just in case your browser is still caching the old contents.

Hey Brett,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. It's most likely that you have a password plugin on your browser that is filling up the passwords. If you load up the composer, on the bottom right you should see the password field.

Please see my screen shot here, http://screencast.com/t/o9PvlQJwv

I have this issue now where my new published blogs get password protected by default the superadmins are not required to put in a password but the registered users are asked to enter one. I tried figuring out what password will enable it and have no luck. do you think it is a acl issue?

Hey Gregory,

This is most likely due to your password manager or your browser automatically filling in the password field. There is no way unfortunately to tell the browser to not auto fill this
