Why is it that if a template has only an image block, a video block, an audio block etc and no text block that the blog will not post - an error is provided saying you must add content. Similarly, if you have a text block below the image, but the blogger removes the block, it also won't post.

The work-around is to add a text block to the template, and then if no text is required, highlight the content f the text block and delete it, without removing the block itself.

Why is this...shouldn't it be possible to post an image or a video with no text except the title?
Thanks,
Andrew
Hi there,

I have checked this on my end, and seems like there are issues when you only posting images and without any blocks in it, it will not allowed you to post them but using videos, it is working fine without any issues as you can see here http://take.ms/Dae2B

I have logged this issue(regarding images) on our tracker and will included them on our next release version.

By the way, can i have your permission to create a test post on your site? Please advice.

Hi there,

I have tested them and seems like there are no issues when posting only videos on the editor as you can refer here

As it does not works only not for images on the editor. Please advice.

I tried it using my video template - Iadded a Youtube video and then deleted the text block by clicking on the X in the black bar beneath the text block. It would not let me save the blog post. It does work if you keep the text block and then highlight all text in the block and then delete it leaving the empty block as part of the page.

You state:

As it does not works only not for images on the editor. Please advice.

I have no idea what this means.

Also from an earlier post, this is also very confusing:

I have checked this on my end, and seems like there are issues when you only posting images and without any blocks in it, it will not allowed you to post them but using videos, it is working fine without any issues as you can see here http://take.ms/Dae2B

I have logged this issue(regarding images) on our tracker and will included them on our next release version.

So basically, we are still at the same place when I posted the first ticket, i.e. it appears that it is not possible to add a single photo or a video post unless there is a text block (with or without content) included in the post.

Can this be changed??
Thanks,
Andrew

Hi there,

Sorry for confusion caused Currently, there are issues if you posting your log post using image only as the content and i have logged this issues on our tracker and will included those fixes on our next release version.

As for videos only as contents, it does works as it should on my end and yours site. I just wanted to confirm with you if using videos only as contents still not working on your site or not. But as from what i have tested, it is working fine.

Please advice.
