hi

i am a little confused regarding this function, maybe i am reading it wrong, but it states that the author can post to his own social media accounts, but when i try to set it up, i can only auto post to the business social media accounts, is there something i am doing wrong?
Hi stuart roberts,

Sorry for late reply to this,

May i know your blogger got sign in via Facebook from their Easyblog account?

If yes, I suspect your Facebook app didn't submit "publish_actions" user permission for review, please take a look of this documentation : http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/autoposting/setting-up-facebook-app

Since Facebook latest API rules already changed, if you would like to allow blogger autopost to their Facebook profile, you have to get this `publish_actions` user permission to approve from Facebook.

Can you try submit this `publish_actions` user permission and see how it goes?

If you need further assistance, you can provide us with your Joomla backend, FTP, Facebook access so we can help you check on this.

Hello Stuart.

Yes the author they can autopost their blog post to their social network. But they need to sign in with their social network account first.

Firstly, you need to enable this option for each of the social network. http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-06-29_1547_001.png

Then this option will be show up on your author edit profile. http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-06-29_1549.png

Hope this help

HI Stuart Roberts,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

i have done this, but when i try to set up auto posting from author, it only allows me to select the company twitter account, it doesnt give me the option to add a new account.

Em, i not sure if i understand you correctly by the option to add new account. May i know which account you referring?

By the way, have you read our online documentation on how you setup your twitter autoposting? If not, you can take a look at below links:

http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/autoposting/setting-up-twitter-autoposting
http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/autoposting/setting-up-twitter-autoposting-for-author

If you still having issue configuring your twitter autoposting, can you provide us your Joomla backend admin access and you twitter login that you used to create your twitter app for EasyBlog?

Please advise.
Sam
