Hi guys,

When I upload a photo and write a little story with it, then share it, it will not end up on the timeline. Instead the photo moves into the albums and the comment I posted with it is lost. Just a comment, a video, a poll or an event will end up on the timeline... photo's won't :-/

What am I missing?

Hi Abdul,

The problem only exists when I post as Super Admin (page owner) and when I post as the page itself. In those cases I don't see the photo's turning up in the timeline.

Logged in as a regular user I DO see the posts (photo and description) in the timeline... and when I post a photo as a regular user it also turns up the the timeline...

It's a mystery ;-)

Honestly, i am not sure how to replicate them currently as i tried to post as page owner and super users, it seems to show correctly as you can see here https://screencast.com/t/d01fWB52x1E. Can you provide us with more details? Maybe do provide us with steps by steps to replicate this issues.

Do provide us with those access credentials you are using right now so that we can further check this issues.

Hi there,

Sorry, I wasn't completely clear in my explanation. When I view on mobile (mobile template is installed) I DO see the posts with the text and image in my timeline and in the timeline of the specific page they were posted to. There everything is as should be, but when I view the specific page in desktop mode (laptop), the images are in the album but not in the timeline of the page with the companioning text.

This problem only exists in Chrome browser and only when logged in as Super Admin. When I'm logged in as a regular user, all is fine...

Pretty weird aye... but I guess it's just a fluke that I can work around.

Hi there,

It should be no different if you view your site using mobile or browser. Can you provide us with those links so that we can see if we can replicate them?

Or maybe you can record us a video on how to replicate them so that we can check whether there are bugs on our end.

It's really weird, but try logging in with the new details, post an image on a page with some text and see it disappear... ;-)

I can replicate them now. It seems that somehow, previously you have hidden this https://screencast.com/t/loTwtUsF using that users and that why it is hidden when you posted them. I have made them as visible and you should be able to see them now.

To enabled them, i have enabled this https://screencast.com/t/kXxjmpmV and access them on your toolbar https://screencast.com/t/3bsDCAIR. It is under this sections https://screencast.com/t/UlDvgHcBE. I have disabled them for now.

Please give it a check and see how it goes.

Hi. My site's users get similar issue. They accidently hides some stream item type and doesn't know about it.
Yes, "Anable Activity Logs" is enabled and menu items is published (but it different for users to find it).

I would like to suggest:
1) move this options (in frontend) somewhere to the Profile Settings.
2) or allow in backend disable some of them (forbit users to hide stream item by type; ...from user; single stream item).
