Sorry in advance if I have misunderstood something, but I thought on the latest update, it was possible to post YouTube videos as a post cover.

I have tried two different styles of links to the same YouTube video, but neither are working. All I'm seeing is a black box with
No compatible source was found for this media.

The Easyblog post is on masquerading.com https://masquerading.com/en/blog

In order to show the video as a cover, you must put the video link into the cover area (screenshot: https://monosnap.com/file/NWGw8aRoZSUKThJMgT7iDquBBumcN1 )

So you do not need to add the video to the blog content but you need to add some empty space into the text block because by default the system doesn't allow users to publish a blog post without empty content.

Thanks for the report, so far this issue only happens on Magazine menu layout. I can able to replicate this issue locally, I will log this into the issue tracker.

It does embed the YouTube link in now, but Magazine Layout still showing the placeholder
