I've checked the codes and the previous button(left side) actually goes to the older created post whereas the next button(right side) goes to the newer created post, something like a left to right order.

Unfortunately there is no setting to change this. If you would like to swap this, you would need to perform a template override using the attached modified file.
Apply the file in the following template override directory(create the directory if it does not exist):
JoomlaFolder\templates\yourCurrentTemplate\html\com_easyblog\blogs\entry\navigation.php

But maybe you should add option because it doesnt make sense how you have it.

Even joomla itself (the built in articles blog layout) has latest to the LEFT and older added articles to right.

So on the site if people are navigating joomla articles, then go to blog, it switches direction ... just not natural in UK layut?

I have consult with the developers and we agree with your idea as it makes sense.
We will make the fix permanent: navigation in the blog entry page will go from newer(left) to older(right) posts.
