Hi there,

I have 3 small issues:

1. If you go to https://www.training-southwest.co.uk/blog you will see the images of posts are not showing. When we updated EB, we lost them all.

Also if you go to a blog post and scroll to the "Related Posts" you will also see those images are not showing.

2. We seem to have different Editors. All the recent blog posts have blocks but once you get to ID 44 the Editor goes back to how it used to be. Can we make it so they all use the same Editor? Preferably the new one.

3. Using the old Editor, I don't seem to be able to upload an image into blogs? When I click the insert/add image there is nowhere to upload an image (see attached screenshot)

Thanks for your help

If you access this blog post https://training-southwest.co.uk/blog without www prefix then it work.

Can you try to remove the following domain value from this file JoomlaFolder/configuration.php and see how it goes?

public $live_site = 'https://training-southwest.co.uk';

Replace with

public $live_site = '';

When a post was initially created using a WYSIWYG editor, it will use the WYSIWYG editor for future editing.

The reason is that when editing with the new composer, it actually contains tons of rich metadata that will be incompatible with WYSIWYG editors. There is no way to add cross-compatibility between the new composer and WYSIWYG editor.

You still can able to insert the image into the blog content. (screenshot: https://monosnap.com/file/bjwqAhyX6v25Aga6UXDizszpvQo57I )

Hi Arlex

Thanks for your help.

1. I will ask the site admin to change the coding and will let you know if it works.
2. OK no problem.
3. Now I understand but this doesn't seem to work for me - please see video attached. I have to upload the image then leave the page then go back in to add the image.

4. New question: please see image attached. On the main blog home page the Continue Reading button almost overlaps with the image underneath and does not look good. How can we fix this?

Much appreciated
Neil

It seems like I can't replicate it, if you manage to replicate this issue again, perhaps you can share with us which blog post having this issue, so we can give it a check.

You can apply the following CSS from your site backend > Easyblog > theme > custom css

body #eb .uk-article>:last-child {
margin-bottom: 20px;
}

Hi Arlex

3. I get it in every blog. See another video. Can you try and do the same thing in blog ID 32? "Top Tips to Help you become..." See if you can enter an image at the top by using that insert button.

4. OK we will try to change it.

Thanks again!

Okay, I manage to replicate this issue locally.

This issue only happens when you upload a new photo from the media manager + legacy post (using Wysiwyg editor).

I will log this issue into our issue tracker.

But we will only address this issue in the 6.0.5 version.
