Hey guys,

I encountered an error in connection with relationship notifications. As you will be able to see by the following video, when i got an incoming relationship request, i clicked on the item, and it navigates me towards Administration area. Before doing anything, i wanted to contact you and ask for your opinion about it.

Btw, this action has a way of repeating itself when you go to 'View all' at the Notification bubble, and trying to review it as an individual item. See what happens: http://screencast.com/t/0ak1gfMpd

I've already added site details. Hope this helps. If this has been fixed in the meantime, please consider this report superfluous.
Thanks in advance Regards, Attila
Hm, can you download the attached file and upload it into /media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/user/relationship/tables/ and overwrite the relations.php file and test this again? You need to test with a new data by the way.

Yes, i can gave it a try. I have overwritten the relations.php file, but it still looks like the same. http://screencast.com/t/NuXhLtwHC
Once i'm logged in backend, i also see this: http://screencast.com/t/VEwm1mR1LdO
Hope these will help you track down the issue. Thank you for your efforts and assistance!

How are you approving this request? Are you approving it from the back end or the front end?

I approved it from frontend. I can try it from backand as well.
Okay, i'm taking back what i've said. Instead of navigating me to the administration area, it brings me back to the stream.
But now i realised why. Developer's account is in english..My account is in hungarian. The notification link for Developer seems to use the route translated in hungarian: http://nt2010.net/index.php/community/profil/szerkesztes
"szerkesztes" means edit.

If i remove "szerkesztes" and typing "edit" it works.

UPDATE: I approved the request as Developers via backend, and as Attila Lengyel, when i click on the notification, i see this: http://screencast.com/t/kaCLxS8r5

Hey Mark,

I did a further investigation, and got the same result as i mentioned above, the english Developer's account uses a hungarian router.
This one: http://nt2010.net/index.php/community/profil/szerkesztes

Instead of this one: http://nt2010.net/index.php/community/profile/edit.
That's how when Developer clicks on the notification item, it brings them back to the stream. For the hungarian one, it works without problems. (The developer accout was previously hungarian, and according to my observations, the issue only appears when you change the language settings for each user. I changed it from hun to eng.)
Hope this helps a little bit

Thank you!!

Hi,

This is caused by the multilanguage issue where the generated url is not parsed correctly on a alternate language mode.

To be frank with you we do not have a quick fix for this as this needs to be fixed on the core side.

We will be including this fix in the upcoming updates.
