Hello Support

I have a feeling that I posted about this before. The last Blog post that I posted that turns up in the Stream on the Community page is “AE & MAC PRO USER TEST 01

Posted in Adobe on Monday, 14 April 2014.” I have since posted several articles and they do not show. Any ideas?

e.g. If you go here:

http://finalbug.net/community

You really should be seeing a post from the Blog see here:

http://finalbug.net/blog

Am I missing something or is this buggy!?!

found the post, I posted before:

http://stackideas.com/forums/blog-posts-in-stream-do-not-show-after-a-certain-date

thanks

Paul
Hello Paul,

It's most likely that the blog post that was created was restricted to private and that is why those entries aren't being pushed to EasySocial.

Hi Mark

Are you referring to the settings here, please see screen shot

If so I only discovered this option recently. I used it whilst proof reading my latest post. However I never used it before.

Am I missing something?

best

Yep, that's correct. It should be everyone and if you post it as Everyone, then it will be published in EasySocial's stream.

Hi Mark

Sorry about the confusion. if Easy Blog is set by default to “Everybody” which I believe it is this can not be the culprit! I only discovered the feature last Friday. I used it once and once only i.e. last Friday! Prior to that I always wrote a Blog post in a word processors, prepared the photos, did the spell check and published with “Everybody” switched on from the start… Inevitably I still make changes. Correct small mistakes etc, save and save again…

When I posted this article (last Friday) :

http://finalbug.net/blog/entry/394-editing-a-documentary-in-fcp-x-part-02

Blog Permissions were set to “Me Only” & I then switched to “Everyone”:

But, when I posted all the articles below Blog Permissions were set to “Everyone” (neither of which show up in the stream) :

http://finalbug.net/blog/entry/390-editing-a-documentary-in-fcp-x-part-01

and

http://finalbug.net/blog/entry/389-adobe-updates-cloud-numbers

before that I published this (Which showed up in the stream!):

http://finalbug.net/blog/entry/388-ae-mac-pro-user-test-01

Before that again (both of which do not show up in the stream):

http://finalbug.net/blog/entry/387-avid-engaging-users-everywhere

and

http://finalbug.net/blog/entry/386-new-4k-cameras-at-nab-2014

And then this (Which does show up in the stream):

http://finalbug.net/blog/entry/383-prenab-editors-lounge-2014-part-1-2-1

I think there is something else going on here and I am not seeing a pattern!?! Also to be very frank if I switch Blog permissions from “Only me” to “Everyone” surely the Blog post should show up in the stream after the event. i.e. after I have made the switch…

best

Hi support

No idea if this plays a role but:

http://finalbug.net/blog/entry/390-editing-a-documentary-in-fcp-x-part-01
http://finalbug.net/blog/entry/394-editing-a-documentary-in-fcp-x-part-02

the item (article id jumped from 390 too 394.

I had no articles between these articles?!?!?!

best

Hello Paul,

I am really sorry but we are not too sure how to reproduce this issue on your site. We have tried to create a blog post on the site and it's publishing on the stream without any issues. Also, you might want to check if you have actually hidden these activities in the activity log.
