Possibility to choose private message option for moderator side only too.

It would be nice to be able to set the private discussion option to be seen only from moderator as an option too.
In my easydiscuss i don't want users to have private posting but when i decide as administrator to hide something from public view to be able to hide it by making it private. This option is due some post may have inappropriate content (sexuality or socking) we are a medical site for reproduction and words like vagina are often used....google adsense policy filters can not understand that is a medical question so they see it as policy violation and this causes issues too us. thats all.

Currently, it is not possible to achieve this currently.

But i do apply some customs fixes on files below. Fixes applied are on template override and it wont be overwritten on your next update.

ok the files are up as i see in my template/

hm i enable private post option.....i tried and connected as registered user and it still shows...when i create a new post.

anyway i disable the option for now...i dont know why your overide did not work maybe a conflict or something. i cleared all cache and on my cdn on cloudflare when enabled the checkbox shows on registered user still.
if in the future is this added as a fuction it would be nice.

It is because you have set this https://take.ms/mNqjE for one of you category. Those simple fixes are to check based on those settings only.

if in the future is this added as a fuction it would be nice.

It would best if you could submit your feature request regarding this simply by creating a new ticket on the forums, and set it to "Feature Request" so everyone else on the site could vote for it as well. The team will usually prioritize features that are in popular demand during the development process of the next major release.
