Hi

Is there any way of putting the showcase module under the main menu bar of Easy blog but before the first post?

I am running RT-Sirocco theme on a gantry framework.

I can't seem to find a position that makes this happen and wondered if it was possible, perhaps with CSS, but I am not great at this yet.

Many thanks as always
Hey Alex,

You can position the module to appear on 'easyblog-after-toolbar'

Also is it possible to have the showcase module only showing on the main front page and not when users click into the posts?

Thanks

Hey Alex,

Unfortunately that is not possible right now. Perhaps rather than using the module, you should use the built in showcase feature in EasyBlog?

Hey Alex,

It should be enabled by default. Did you feature any blog post on the site yet?

So does this only work for featured posts? If no posts are featured it won't work?

Can I then have every posts as automatically featured if this is the case?

Yes, that is correct only featured posts will be displayed in the featured area. Hm, but that actually defeats the purpose of featuring the post eh?

Not sure about Gantry 4, but with Gantry 5 you can define different outlines to different menu links. As long as you got menu links you can assign another outline that does not include the module at that instance to prevent it from being shown...
