Hi,
how do I make popup announcement link open in a blank page?

And whats the use of

background: transparent url("../../../../../media/com_easysocial/images/gritter/ie-spacer.gif")

in gritter-item-wrapper?

Unfortunately it is not possible to do that currently. That block of css code is to address Internet Explorer issues
