Points History is not in sync with the listed point items right below it

It has been a while since anything happened in the Forum section, as my site is still a prototype with just test users.

I just noticed that the Admin account which has 9 Posts and 8 Replies shows 4 items in the point history below it and yet the Points button thing shows 5 points.

I cannot find that points history is automatically deleted or a setting for some kind of pruning function.

All the activity is of course showing on the backend.

In what way can the full activity history be shown and the Points History calculation be corrected?

Did this happen when going from ED4 to ED5???

Again, how to fix so it is correct?
Hi Net-Config,

Are you saying that the back-end is showing all points activity whereas the front-end is only showing some points activity? May I know which are the ones that showing at the back-end but not on the front-end?

Are new discussion and replies generating the points history correctly?

Correct, the Points shown in the front-end Points History only count from December 3, 2021 to now. On the backend, these two "test users" have activity with 7 and 8 or so Posts and Replies from earlier this year and last year, which is NOT counted at all.

As I'm thinking about this, I wonder if this has more to do with me doing a FULL package download and install over an existing installation.

Do the install scripts wipe out Points History in that process?

None of this is super important to ME, as I just have this site under development still, but it is important for the SI team to know, it seems.

Hey Net-Config,

The installation does not delete any point history. I'm not sure why the previous activity were not generated. Maybe at that time, there was a bug or something, then it was fixed. There is no way to know currently.

Only thing we can make sure is that right now, creating new discussions or replies must generate the point activity correctly, which is why I asked if it's working right now on your end.

I will keep an eye on it and use some test users to create a dialogue and confirm that Points are calculated correctly.
