Hello,
is there a way to create points rule for kunena (new topic and reply for a start could be great) ?
and it could be great to insert it in the migration process

could someone explain me the way it's working ? maybe it is quite easy to create ? ?

Thanks in advance
Loïc
Ah, it looks like the Kunena plugin has some issues and the badges / points folder didn't get uploaded. I have manually uploaded it for you and it works fine now. This will be fixed in the next update of the plugin.

Hello Loïc,

We actually already have rules for this You just need to run the "Discover" in the points and badges. It should discover the badge and points rules for Kunena as long as the Kunena app is installed.

Hi,

Kunena points is actually already installed on your site.

Regarding the points assignment, unfortunately the migration currently does not assign the points. Points will only be assigned for new actions on the site.

Hi Mark,

Is there an update for this, or can you send me the badges / points folder and let me know where to install it?

Many thanks,

Mark.

Hello Mark,

If you download the apps from http://stackideas.com/apps , they should all be included automatically

Yes, I downloaded it yesterday from: http://stackideas.com/apps/item/1-kunena

I ran the discover new points and no Kunena rules were found (see attachment).

The plugin is enabled, and all the options turned on (see second attachment).

Hello Mark,

If all these are enabled already, it should work if you perform actions on Kunena. Are you on the latest version of Kunena?

Yes, latest versions of everything:

Kunena 3.04
EasySocial v1.1.6
Joomla 3.2.2

But as you can see from the screenshot, JS isn't discovering any Kunena points rules, so wouldn't this mean that there is no way is could work?

I've posted new topics and no new points are assigned. There are no new points activity when you look at the points section of the user.

It seems something wasn't copied across in the install maybe?

Hello Mark,

Hm, JS? Do you mean EasySocial or JomSocial? The rules discovery is in EasySocial. I can't really tell what's wrong unless I debug the site

Ha ha, yes, I meant ES!

I'll get the site online soon and will give you access.

Until I do, is there anything at all I can check?

Is there a .points folder for Kunena I should check for?

Thanks,

Mark.

Hello Mark,

The points file should be available in /plugins/kunena/easysocial/points/kunena.points . Is the file there?

It looks like the version you have in the apps area still does not copy the points and apps folders over.

I had to extract the .points folder from the installation package and then copy it across manually. Once I did this, three new Kunena rules were discovered (post, reply and thanks) and all points were being assigned correctly. I just thought I should let you know so that you can mark it as something that still needs fixing.

Please can you tell me, is there a similar process I need to follow for badges? Is there a .badges folder and if so, where does it go?

Thanks again,

Mark.

Hello Mark,

Hm, that's odd. The process is the same for the badges. Just copy the kunena.badges from /plugins/kunena/easysocial/badges/
