Yes, we could do that- ie blog with soundcloud blocks.
I have also provided some dummy screenshots.

Currently to achieve this, you will need to configure your module accordingly using this module (EasyBlog - Latest Blogs Module). You can add those blocks accordingly based on what my colleague refer above. But somehow, this module will show all post that related to your categories as it is latest post module.

I would suggest you to create a distinct categories, that is purposely for your podcast sections and included them here http://take.ms/xsx0M so that those modules only shows your 'podcast' blogs. Then assign those modules accordingly on your desired position.

Please give it a try and see how it goes.
