Helo Support

Please help me fix my members page.
None of the filters on the left hand side seem to be working!
Please advise ho do I get to this filters panel in the back end.
I obviously went there before but have forgotten where it was.

As of now all filters are broken.
i.e. I click a filter for e.g. FCPX and ES searches and searches and searches etc

thanks in advance

Paul

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Perhaps you can keep in touch with your webhosting provider and keep us updated with their replies.

Hi Paul Murray,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I've checked in your site, I noticed when I logged in successfully in your http://finalbug.net site, then it will do redirection to this page http://www.paurray.de/stream , check my screenshot below.

May i know do you do any redirection from your server? please advise.

Hi Arlex

Yeah. There is some really weird stuff going on.
I moved hoster and did a clean up in the mySQL data bank.

I suspect that these messed up URL are messing with me being able to search for users.

Your screen shot might help me to get more help from Siteground.

I have seen stuff like this as well.
But thought that it had gone away!

They are telling me that I should be upgrading to Joomla 3.x.

This is something that i want to do any way as I want to get HWDMedia share to work with Es but that is another story.

I will keep you posted and if you have any further ideas I am all ears.

thanks in advance

Paul

Hi Support

OK I do not really understand what was happening but:

Siteground:

It seems the issue is caused by the fact that your paurray.de domain is trying to load the content from another domain -> finalbug.net.

I see that you have set your paurray.de domains as parked to finalbug.net and in this case I suggest to set your parked domain as addon domain and make the exact same copy for your new addon domain as the issue with the provided screenshot does not persist for - finalbug.net

Also please note that since your paurray.de domains is set as parked only the "home" page would be loaded properly and if you click on any of the internal links it would redirect you to the actual domain finalbug.net. If you want to avoid this redirect, just set your domain as addon domain through cPanel -> Addon domains and transfer the content in public_html in your newly created addon domain folder.

End of Siteground.

I suspect that I have two problems one at the Server end and one at the Easy Social end.
In any case I will mark this thread as solved and investigate further.
At least I have a chance of getting to the bottom of this now.

Maybe there is not even a problem

thanks

Paul
