I've setup an upgrade path from our cheaper plans to the more expensive ones, but it still charges the full amount for the more expensive plan. Can I configure the upgrades to only charge the upgrade cost?

Also, is it possible to show all three pricing levels to new users, but hide the lower pricing levels from our current subscribers?
For instance, when I sign up I can choose Plan$1, Plan$2 or Plan$3. Then if I choose Plan$2 I would like to hide Plan$1, and only show Plan$3 as an upgrade.
Hey Neiger,

I've checked your site and created one testuser.
Subscribed to Bronze plan and then upgraded to silver , i am charging $100 ($175 - $75), which is correct.
see attached screen shot.

Please take a look on this again and if still issue persist then tell me the steps to replicate.

Thank you for understanding !

Hey Neiger & peiyouliao,

I am really sorry for the delayed response.

Your require can be possible using Plan Relation ship functionality. But first let me know that like user subscribed to plan2 then can only show plan 3 , but after expiration of plan 2, user can subscribe the plan 2 (new subscription) or can renew his existing plan only.
Also these are fixed plan (one time payment) or recurring one.

Update me, so i'll assist you accordingly.

Thank you for understanding !

Hello Manisha,
Thank you for your reply.

If the user's plan is active, they should be able to upgrade to a higher plan. (From 1 -> 2/3)
But if it is expired, then they may be able to purchase any plan. (From 0 -> 1/2/3)

We are using fixed plans for now. In the future we will be offering recurring plans.

Thank you for your help!

Hey Neiger,

If the user's plan is active, they should be able to upgrade to a higher plan. (From 1 -> 2/3)

You need to use PayPlans upgrade functionality.
https://stackideas.com/docs/payplans/administrators/plans/plan-upgrades

You need to setup upgrade rule for Plan 1 and allow upgrade to Plan 2 & 3. So when user can upgrade his existing plan 1 from dahsboard to plan 2 and 3.

But if it is expired, then they may be able to purchase any plan. (From 0 -> 1/2/3)

ok, for example if plan 2 active then need to hide other plan 1 or ?

Update me.

I have the upgrade plan created from Bronze ($75) to either Silver ($175) or Gold ($275). See the attached screenshot.

If I purchase a Silver plan from a Bronze plan, I'm charged the full $175 amount, instead of the $100 difference. Can I configure it to only charge the difference in cost?

Hey Neigher,

When you upgrade to 1 plan to another plans then difference of price will be charged.
I've tried to access your site backend , but it seems i am unable to login.

Login denied! Your account has either been blocked or you have not activated it yet.

Can you update us with your site backend and ftp details, so i'll be able to check this issue further.

Thank you for understanding !

Thank you for your help. I've never noticed the upgrade button on the plan until now. I was expecting it to charge the difference when I purchase a new plan from the list of all available plans.

Hey Neiger,

If you puchase new plan then diffrence of charge will not applicable because it will consider as new subscription. So upgrade should be done from user dashboard itself.

It sounds good that your issue has been resolved now.

Just for your information, I have locked and marked this thread as resolved to avoid confusions in the future. Please start a new thread if you have any other issue in the future so it will be easier for us to manage your inquiries.

Thanks for understanding.
