Hi, I am having a problem with PayPlans and I'm stumped!

The Issue:
Visit the site: https://www.essbiztools.com.au, all PayPlan pages are located under the 'Subscribe Here' dropdown menus. Some menu when clicked just time out after 10 minutes and the ones that load show the price as being FREE (when they are not) and lifetime (when they are recurring). I have tried to find a common denominator with the problem but it follow no common path, I have tried the following:

1. updated Payplans 3.7.1
2. updated Joomla core 3.9
3. changed PHP versions from 5.6 up to 7.3 (I did notice 7.3 loaded more pages)
4. tested turning off other plugins
5. tested loading a different template

Please help, I'm out of ideas?

I've treid to access your site but it's showing site can't be reached.

This site can’t be reached http://www.essbiztools.com.au’s server IP address could not be found.

Hmm, that is very strange, I have no country IP blocking on the site, it is up for me at this end, have you got another browser to test the site in other than chrome? Please 'Flush socket pools' in chrome: chrome://net-internals/#sockets

Hello Danny,

I am able to access your site now. can you tell me which menu timeout after 10 mins.
I am not able to replicate it. Also let me know have you done any customization ?

Hi, I have done no customisations or template overrides. It is weird as the ones that were connecting yesterday are not working today.

If you keep going to any menu item under the 'Subscribe Here' menu, it is any of them.

e.g.
-- https://essbiztools.com.au/index.php?option=com_payplans&view=plan&task=subscribe&plan_id=23&group_id=0&Itemid=690
-- https://essbiztools.com.au/index.php?option=com_payplans&view=plan&task=subscribe&plan_id=15&group_id=0&Itemid=683
-- https://essbiztools.com.au/index.php?option=com_payplans&view=plan&task=subscribe&plan_id=37&group_id=0&Itemid=829

Also when I do connect to any of the they are coming up as FREE and not the price they should be.

Great, can you please let me know what the problem was?

I see the pricing is fixed but I am still getting some timeouts but I have just been informed by the hosting company about some issues so I'll wait this is fixed first.

Hello Danny,

Great, can you please let me know what the problem was?
This issue is coming due to advance pricing app. You have not setup advance pricing app, only plugin is enabled.
We already logged this issue and fixed in pp4.

I see the pricing is fixed but I am still getting some timeouts but I have just been informed by the hosting company about some issues so I'll wait this is fixed first.
ok, Let us know if still issue not resolved.

Thank you for that. I have now gone through and unpublished all unused apps as I am still having the problem. The pricing has been fixed but I cannot access any menu item that is listing groups rather than single products.

I can access this:
https://www.essbiztools.com.au/index.php?option=com_payplans&view=plan&task=subscribe&plan_id=23&group_id=0&Itemid=690

But cant access this:
https://www.essbiztools.com.au/index.php?option=com_payplans&view=plan&task=subscribe&plan_id=0&group_id=6&Itemid=708

I have talked to the hosting company and they say there is no issue with the server/hosting.

This is the steps/process of the issue

1. I can call up a single item (https://www.essbiztools.com.au/index.php?option=com_payplans&view=plan&task=login&plan_id=23)
2. When I call up a plan group it hangs & times out (https://www.essbiztools.com.au/index.php?option=com_payplans&view=plan&task=subscribe&plan_id=0&group_id=6)
3. That browser tab becomes unresponsive and has to be closed. I have tested in Chrome, Mozilla, Safari (on a mac) all with the same results.

Can you call up the group plans from your end?

Hello Danny,

I've tried to access the link you shared in above reply but i am always getting Gateway Time out error.
see attached screen shot.

504- Gateway Timeout problem is entirely due to slow IP communication between back-end computers, possibly including the Web server.This might be happened because of their server does not working properly.

Could you mind consult this with your Webhosting provider and see if they could help or provide some suggestion about this? Please advise.

I've tried to connect with FTP details of your site but it's not working.
Also let me know where those error log / apache server log file located on Cpanel.

Sorry, I had to change the password just yesterday, I have now updated it here.

You will see the log files in the /logs dir on the server. I have checked them and they look like they only refer to the timeouts that happen.

Hello Danny,

I got the issue , it's coming from basic tax app option Display plan price included with tax on subscribe page
is set to yes. When this app trying to get ip address from one of the api we are using, it's not loading (m working on this).
For now i've disabled this option , now plan page loading showing properly.

Can you please take a look on this issue and let me know if still issue persist.
