Hello

Please give me an insight into placing modules.

For instance:
I would like to place current/future events on the login/registration page.

Thank you.

Kind Regards

Flavius
Hey Ronald,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is actually a public day off for us here. Placing modules is something that you would want to do in Joomla. On the guests page for the dashboard, these are the module positions that are rendered,

es-dashboard-sidebar-top
es-dashboard-sidebar-bottom
es-dashboard-sidebar-after-newsfeeds
es-dashboard-before-contents
es-dashboard-after-contents

Thanks Mark.

I must have missed something or is confusing myself because I am not seeing

es-dashboard-sidebar-top
es-dashboard-sidebar-bottom
es-dashboard-sidebar-after-newsfeeds
es-dashboard-before-contents
es-dashboard-after-contents

or any other Easysocial positions in the position tab of a module.

I am also not seeing any Easysocial page in Menu Assignment.

Please help me to understand this process.

Thank you.

Kind Regards

Flavius

You need to type it in the "position" and hit the enter key. This is the standard behavior on how you can enter a custom module position with Joomla. That dropdown that you see is not just a dropdown, it allows you to insert new items.

You can't assign it by pages. You need to create a dashboard menu item and assign the module to appear in the menu item. This is how Joomla works too
