Hello Dennis,

I'm sorry but I don't see placeholder in your page: http://screencast.com/t/ONF9cY3o3cx . Did I miss anything? Please advise.

Hi Nick,

you are right, it dissapeard...
But the left post has a photo, but therefore the placeholder is shown?!
I only want the placeholder to be displayed if there is no image there.

Hello Dennis,

I'm sorry, the idea behind placeholder is, Easyblog will check if the post has any cover, it will show the cover photo. If not, it will show placeholder. As for your blog post, I believe it doesn't has a cover because it was imported from RSS Feed. We haven't implement save photo as cover in Feed Importer.

Hmm, but this is a very important thing if you try to drive a magazin.
Or simply it should detect if an inherit image is available and then show this instead. Please can you provide a fix?

I am sorry but we will not be adding this into the feed importer anytime soon. The placeholder behavior is there to solve issues when your post doesn't have a post cover. If you do not want this behavior, then you could switch the placeholder off
