Placeholder always shows

Hello,

I have the menu item set to inherit from default.

Then the easyblog config under Layout -> Post Options -> Show placeholder image - NO

Yet it still shows in the post?

Hm, which layout are you referring to? Are you referring to the listing or the entry view?

I finally solved it. It was down to the categories also have a placeholder setting.

This shows in the entry / post page if no image. The site was upgraded to Easyblog 5 and this appears to be set to yes by default.
