I am not sure if this is how you meant for it to work but it does not make sense to me that this is how it functions?

When I pin something in a group that pinned item is also pinned on my profile page. It should only display pinned in the group.

Is this something that can be changed?

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

I believe this was intended so that you can keep track on your pinned stream item easily without having the needs to navigate to other page such as groups.

Is this something that can be changed?

Unfortunately it is not possible to change the behavior of this feature currently in easysocial.
