Sure - sorry missed your answer, here is a screenshot, where you can see, that end recurting events you have to choose a date - in this pickup the Month Names are English and the week as well does not start with monday

Ah okay found the problem, it looks like the recurring field isn't respecting the language. I have added this into our internal issue tracker and this will be addressed in the next release.
