Hello,

I tried all possible options but unable to find why photos not showing as option in store panel for groups.

Please help.
I've help you set this photo app to default application, can you give it a check again is it can see that upload photo icon now?

We have made lots of customization in core files, so it was not suppose to update anything or reset the setting??

I already had activated that app and tried but no luck so far
Pls log into front end using demo/demo123 and click on groups to see this

Hey Jason,
You would have to make sure the user's profile type has the permission to create albums as well(http://take.ms/xgBbD). Try enabling that option and see how it goes.

Yes, if you customisated a lot of Easysocial core files, I am not encourage you update your Easysocial unless you know what file or code you added in the core file.

By the way, can you try my colleague suggested that setting is it can able to work?

I do not reset the setting from admin but it often reset, is there any auto update or reset plugin or feature?

May i know which setting you referring?
Because we do not have any script or update will reset your existing setting as what you configure before.

It seems like I missed up this reset setting from backend, it might be one of the reason your setting caused reset it.

To be honestly, we didn't reset your setting from your backend.

By the way, I did tried to login as your demo account, it seems like you already can manage to show that upload photo from your story form now.

But after enabling that option the size of these folders increased a lot:
/media/com_easysocial/photos/xxx

any reason ?

PS: just to review, the 12GB space is currently under two subdirectories below
/media/com_easysocial/photos:
7.9G 34
3.4G 35
Under the 34 folder there are a series of folders named "60" in the following path:
/media/com_easysocial/photos/34/63/32/60/32/60/32/60/32/60/32/60/32/60
Each of those "60" folders contains 15-20 folders which mirror somewhat (but not exactly) the numbered folders in the photos root directory.

This is the problem, why its creating that much folders and repeating ??

This is very serious and imp issue for me, pls resolve this asap because i need to launch the website to production today.

I removed the folders and recreated, but pls tell me if you can what causes the loop which duplicated the folders and content

It shouldn't create these duplicate folder, it might be one one of the issue causing this.

Since you already mentioned your site haven't launch yet right? If yes, I believe your site is it only you working on your site right now? If yes, can you try remember where you upload those photo on your site at yesterday?

Because it will help us to replicate this issue and solve this issue quickly.

As i have removed the folder manually and launched the site, i will recreate the test site and continue testing this issue and will keep you posted if it occurs again.
