We loaded 27 photo's into a group Album. When we click on the album, it shows 10 pictures with a load more button. When you click on the load more button, it loads some of pictures but then loads some of them again so you get doubles. Also, not all of the original pictures are shown.

i.e. pics 1-10 are loaded normally. Click on the load more button and pics 11-17 are loaded and then 14, 13, 12 as well. Click again and it loads 11, 10, 9 etc till it reaches the end.

When you click on a picture, it opens in a lightbox and all pics can be viewed. its only a problem with the load more link
Hey Marc,

I just tested this locally and was able to replicate the "privacy" issue and this can be fixed by downloading the attached file and uploading it into /components/com_easysocial/controllers/

Having said that, I can't replicate the "duplicate" photos issue locally though. Can you try this fix?

Hello Marc,

I've tried to access your FTP but failed: Control connection timed out. Can you please check?

I tested the access again and it works from this side, so I'm not sure why you would get that error.
The FTP link is to our web-based control panel, so you need to use a browser and not an FTP client to access the file manager

Hey Marc,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Sorry but I am not really sure if I understand your issue here. When accessing the album at http://www.kiwiklub.com/photos-head/member-photos/item/13620-gauteng-party-samples/group/96-party-picture-samples , clicking the load more doesn't generate any contents.

Am I missing anything here?

By the way, can you please provide us with the FTP access as we need to alter the files to troubleshoot the site. We can't modify anything with webmin

Okay....there seems to be a number of issues related to this problem.

The group album has a privacy seeing of "friends only".
Thats why load more doesn't work for the test account, since the test account is not friends with the album poster. (although I don't know why it displays anything at all in this case)

Problem 1:
Group albums inherit the default privacy settings of the member uploading the pics, not of the group itself.
by default, our members have album privacy set at friends only, which means that only members of the group who are their friends can view the pictures.

Problem 2:
The edit button doesn't work, so we can't change the album privacy settings.

Problem 3
Testing with a member who is a friend of the album poster (bypassing problems 1 and 2) results in the initial problem described in this post

Hello Marc,

Thanks for clarifying the issues. May I ask for permission to create a new test group and test users on your site so that I can easily troubleshoot this issue? I don't want to test it on your existing group to prevent test data being shown to your users.

Hi Mark,

I'm still busy testing but it seems that the albums.php fix has resolved both issues.

Thank you so much
