Hi again

There is another problem that we have come across today.

One of our bloggers posted a blog with several photos in it. When the post is looked at from the back end, all the photos are shown with no problem. But when the post is looked at on a main size computer a lot of the photos are gone, just small little boxes. But if you re-size the windows screen to a half size, then all the photos appear again, maximum screen, their gone, small screen, they come back?!?

I have taken a video which is attached, which shows the problem.

As I was doing this, I noticed that the module in the side bar is not changing, so the recent blog posts module photos are protruding over the post.

Could you please let me know why this is happening?

Thanks
Hi Alex,

I have test in your local about your current issue and didn't see any problem with the view of photo. By the way, we didn't receive any video as you said to show the problem. See my screenshot of the result : http://screencast.com/t/2pf3VNLqgsG , http://screencast.com/t/m1tPnMouZ . Can you re-send again the video, so we can check with more details on the item structure. How can I replicate your issue? Please advice.

Zue

Hi Zue

Thanks for replying, I am not on my computer at present, but noticed that your right the video didn't come through, is there a maximum file size or only certain file types that can be sent as attachments. I used jing to get my screen video, so it was a .swf file, I think! I will try and resend it later on today.

In the meantime, this is a link to the affected blog post.

https://www.multikingdom.com/index.php/en/mainmenu-blog-page-en/2nd-2-elbe.html

If you could try out what I was saying, look at it in full screen, scroll down and you will see in amonst the writing that there are very small white boxes. If you make the window smaller then the photos will appear.

Thanks

Hi Alex,

I suspect this issue might related with your current template since everything showing correctly in your back end.

May I know did your site have Cache mechanism somewhere either on server or joomla site? When I tried to change your site template to protostar for some reason your site still showing the current template you are using previously even after I cleared the Joomla cache.

Can you try to temporary change your current template to protostar and see the problem still persist or no.

Zue

Hi Zue

Thanks for trying to fix my problem.

However, I need to ask that you don't make changes to my site before agreeing them with me first.

Changing someones template can seriously mess up their site and even if only temporarily can affect the visitors using my site.

Please guarantee me that this sort of problem; fixing will not happen again, please fix this in a proper and professional way

Yours faithfully

Hey Alex,

I am not too sure what actually happened but I believe she only switched template to protostar to test this out. Did she left it as protostar?
