I have 2 questions:
- Is it possible to create a photo block with images that are alreay on the server? I would like to upload the photos to a directory and then just choose that directory and have the photos appear in the block.

- Is it possible to have thumbnais instead of just full sized images?

Please advise.

Tks

Mauricio
Hey there,

- Is it possible to create a photo block with images that are alreay on the server? I would like to upload the photos to a directory and then just choose that directory and have the photos appear in the block.

I would suggest you to upload through Easyblog media manager instead of move your photo file into your server directory folder is because when you upload through Easyblog media manager, the system will auto generate 6 type of image so you can select thumbnail image instead of full size image.

Yes, that was possible, you can select which size of image to appear on your blog, you can take a look of my screenshot below. Hope this help.

Hi Arlex, thanks for the reply. I have figured out how to use the thumnails and gallery. On the PC, the thumnails work great. Once I click on the thumbnail, the imagem opens on a lightbox in a larger size. However, on mobile, once I click on the thumbnail, the image that opens on the light box is actually smaller than the thumnail, and even when I rotate the screen, it does not chance size. Do you know how to fix this? 3 images of the thumbnail, imagem horizontally and image vertically are attached.

Thanks

Mauricio

If you are referring to the horizontal layout, there is only a very limited height and in order to maintain the aspect ratio of the image, it has to be resized
