Hey Arlex, @Mark (I hope the mentions work so I can get your attention),

There is a major bug after upgrading from ED3.x to ED4.x - the accepted answer is shown for users who do not have access to the replies in the category, it is always shown, even to not logged in users.

This happens for all accepted answers in all categories.

You can easily reproduce the issue. The first screenshot shows the issue itself and the second shows the category permissions.

This same setup works perfectly fine in ED3.x - only the first post is shown and the accepted answer is not shown.

This bug is really a show stopper.

Can you replace these files into the respected folder:
JOOMLA_FOLDER/administrator/components/com_easydiscuss/includes/post/post.php
JOOMLA_FOLDER/components/com_easydiscuss/views/post/view.html.php
And see how it goes? You are suggested to backup before applying this fix

I've extends and discussed this issue with our developers just now, and this seems to be right as you said above .
I've logged this issue in our issue tracker and our developers will take an action for this.

But since you modified the JOOMLA_FOLDER/administrator/components/com_easydiscuss/includes/post/post.php file, could you please have a look at my last comment in this discussion and implement my feature requests as well?
