People are unable to subscribe to our blog on http://www.speedupmyjobsearch.com/blog/latest. Backend settings are set to allow anyone to subscribe, including in the ACL area. People see the following error:

Insufficient Permissions! There was an error
You do not have the permission to subscribe to this blog.

How can I fix this?
Hello Paul,

It looks like you have set the public users to be under the Joomla user group Guest and for some reasons it's not inheriting the correct permissions. I have set this to "Public" instead and it works fine now. You can actually configure this under the Configuration area under the Users at the back end of Joomla.

Great, thank you Mark. It's working now. Since I'm not a developer, and I had someone develop this site for me, is there anything this change to "Public" from "Guest" could interfere with, such as my autoresponders or cron jobs? And would this change fix the issue with the blogs being sent out 5 times to members of the site?

Thanks again, I really appreciate the quick responses on this issue.

Hello Paul,

To be honest, I am not really sure why it was switched from Public to Guest. By default, Joomla 2.5 uses the Public group.
