I have recently discovered what seems to be a bug and wanted to bring it to your attention.

I have all blog entries set to require approval to stop spam posts. (it would be nice if we could have authors approved). Previously I received a spam post and rather than rejecting it, I deleted it. Not sure if this is a factor, but thought I'd mention it. I received a legitimate blog entry today and went to pending where I found the previous spam post that I deleted. I checked the box for the spam entry and this time I rejected it. Upon doing so, I believe it also rejected the legitimate one as it disappeared.

I can't seem to find a way to recover a rejected post. Is there one, and what is it?
Hello Kane,

I've tried to replicate your issue in my local but I can't see the deleted pending post in my pending list. As for the recovering rejected post, the post will be visible in the user's draft page stating that admin has rejected his post. Its his choice either to re-send the post or ignore it. http://screencast.com/t/GMfnuu8A

I'm suspecting the issue was a caching issue or something of the sort.. was just unfortunate that I lost their blog. And you are telling me the only way to recover it is to contact them or access it via their account?

Hello Kane,

When you reject a post, the post would then be released back to the original author. It should then appear on their "drafts" section as Nik mentioned earlier. In short, yep, you need to contact them or access their account to access the drafts page.
