Payplans User Login/Registration with Social

Hi

I currently use Payplans for subscription paywall and basic user registration on my website. I want to now enhance the user login/registration experience so that users can choose to login/register using Social profiles e.g. Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter.

Ideally I want create exactly the same style login as on the stackideas.com website. Can you tell me how I go about this please? Do I need to purchase/install another of your Joomla extensions?

Hello,

For social login/registration you need to use JFB Connect.
Payplans is integrated with JFB Connect.

I need this too - I posted a question regarding it under EasySocial. I think this answers my question that I have to have JFB Connect in order to use easysocial/payplans subscriptions and social register?

Can you confirm whether this will work with the easysocial docker tool also?

When a user clicks Register, would they still at some stage be able to select their subscription plan?

Hey Mel,

The integration with JFBConnect and EasySocial should work as PayPlans does not interfere the integrations. However, if you do intend to use the profile type integration between PayPlans and EasySocial, I don't think that could work though.

Hi Mark,

I forget why, but I think I have to use the profile type integration because of some custom work that was done by Manisha. Are you saying I can have payplans based on profile types if I want to use the JFBConnect?

I am not sure what custom work Manisha did for you in previously because currently she holidays for this 2 weeks.

Yes, because you can setup this from this "Payplans - Easysocial profile type" then assign to your existing subscription plan.
