[Payplans] Sell grouped memberships packages

Hello,

I am looking to seel memberships in two ways : for individuals and for companies, for individuals its already possible with payplans.

For companies, is it possible to sell them a package of 5, 10, 20 .. memberships at once and deliver X (5, 10, 20..) coupons that they share with their users to purchase membership but without paying, just using a coupon that offer them 100% off.

Dont know if i well explained ?

You can try using the advanced pricing feature to allow companies to buy multiple units of a subscription. Once the purchase is made, you can generate the coupons from the back-end and provide the company the list of generated coupons.

1. You can refer to my attached screenshot.
2. That is correct. There is a generate coupon section under discount. You can also download the coupon code list in csv file format.

There is another method you can try that I believe is more suitable, using the PayPlans - Gifts plugin. You can find it at Joomla's plugin section. Refer the attached screenshots on how it looks like.

The buyer can select how many units to buy and the codes will be sent to the buyer's email.

it send an automatic email with coupons ?

That is correct. After the purchase is made, an email will be sent to the buyer with the list of coupon codes.

Unfortunately currently the gift coupons work with all plans. You can configure these gift coupons in the discount section, but there can be scenarios where the coupon is already used before the admin make the changes to these new coupons.

Thanks, thats mean that a gift coupon can be used with a package subscription and generate again new gifts ?

I have two kind of plans : individual and package, companies can buy package plan, get gift coupons that can be used in individual plans only, it dont need to be used again to buy package plan

Hey HMED,

I tested this earlier and the coupon code can only be used for the base plan, not for additional gifts.
eg:
1x subscription: $1
add 5x gift: ($1x5) = $5
purchaser pays $6
uses a gift coupon obtained previously(100% discount): -$1

But anyway, there is a bug with the current gift coupon behavior. The generated coupon is supposed to be restricted to the plan specified in the plugin. Will log this in our tracker.
