Hi folks,

I'm in the process of upgrading my Joomla 2.5 site with PayPlans 3.1 (a little old, I know). But we've got a staging site ready to go with Joomla 3.x and PayPlans 3.6 installed. My question is: we have had a number of issues with PayPlans not syncing correctly with PayPal. For example, sometimes a user cancels their PayPal auto-payment but that isn't reflected in PayPlans. So their subscription stays active. And if the user re-subscribes then PayPlans adds a new subscription, creating redundant plans and client confusion.

I'm looking for some reassurance that these issues have been addressed in newer versions of PayPlans, especially now that StackIdeas is steering development. Are these known issues? Have they been addressed?

Hello James,

I've checked your site and found the error logs related to invalid ipn and invoice counter mismatch.
In latest paypal app these issues are already fixed (invalid ipn). You are using Payplans 3.1 and paypal app 3.1.4.

The issue related to invoice counter mismatch will occur only if any invoice entity is missing.
Let me know have you deleted any invoice , transaction manaully from backend or databse.
