In the documentation you have PayPal Pro, and PayPal Advanced. But on the current release you have PayPal Payments Advanced (only fixed payments) and Website PayPal Pro (only available in the UK).

Do you have a payment gateway for PayPal Pro that will accept recurring payments in the US (like in your documentation)?

In the documentation you have PayPal Pro, and PayPal Advanced. But on the current release you have PayPal Payments Advanced (only fixed payments) and Website PayPal Pro (only available in the UK).


Currently PayPal Advance only supported for Fixed payments. Website Payment Pro is available for UK only as mentioned on paypal site. (See the Important section)

You can use PayFlow payment integration which will work in US also and it supports Fixed, Recurring and Recurring+Trial payment. Refer below mentioned document for more details.

Hello there,

I'm working on configuring the recurring billing as you suggested with PayPal PayFlow, and it's not working. The checkout displays an error that simply says "Payment not completed: Recurring Payment". And the configuration for PayFlow does not show compatibility with recurring payments (see attached image).

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it was a public holiday for us here.

I have tried to access your staging site but it was not accessible for me, can you please provide us access to your staging site so we can look for this issue and can you provide us the screenshot regarding what error is coming.

I have also logged in into your live site and there i did not find any setup for recurring plan and payflow.

You can include your site's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site rather than needing to keep adding them in your replies.

As i checked payplans logs at your site and found this error log saying "User authentication failed: Recurring Billing".
It seems that Recurring Billing Option not enabled on your merchant account. Can you please confirm me that it's enabled at your account.
