View my profile: https://peakfun.com/joshlewis

On the left bar (widgets) you can see "Photo Albums". The images themselves properly link to pages like: https://peakfun.com/photo/photos/52-mount-torment-from-trailhead

However the album links go to: https://peakfun.com/my-photos/23-eldorado-peak-march-2015
It should point to: https://peakfun.com/photo/23-eldorado-peak-march-2015 (yes, this link works and displays the same album)

The reason being that most people who see this will not be the photo owner. Also pointing to the albums menu item not only makes more sense but would reduce the chances of search engines getting duplicate posts. Seeing "my-photos" in the URL only makes sense when you are viewing your own photos from that menu item. Even the links inside of "my-photos" should link to "/albums". This way link sharing would be consistent. The "my-photos" after all is supposed to be only for your viewing.

Another reason this is not good is because this view is only meant for logged in users. As a result guests cannot view my albums unless they happen to know how to change the URL from "/my-photos" to "/photo".

The Photos widget links to photos as expected.

The albums app also has this issue as seen here: https://peakfun.com/joshlewis/albums
Same goes for all the links in the left side bar of that page.
Hi Josh,

I've added a fix on your site and now the album should point to correct menu item. Can you please give it a try again?
The same fix will be added into next release of EasySocial

Hope this help and have a nice day!

Hi Josh,

Thanks for reporting this issue. Look like we need a better way to distinguish the menu items that both pointing to albums page but one is for all albums ( in your case is the 'photo' ) and another one is the user's album page. We will work on a solution now and will update you again once we got this issue sorted out.

Thanks again and have a nice day!

Great work Sam! Tested in just about every scenario I could think of off the top of my head. Even "my photos" handles this perfectly. I know I keep bringing up things to address, however I'm digging deep. In other words EasySocial is becoming more and more stable. And it's very exciting.
