Password reset fails on email address

Hi there,
We are using EasySocial 2.0.8 on Joomla 3.6.5.
The Easysocial plugin is enabled to override the Joomla processes
When a member requests a forgotten password, they are emailed a link and code.
Clicking on the correctly link takes them to: index.php?option=com_easysocial&view=account&layout=confirmReset&Itemid=1680

If they enter their username and validation code, it is accepted and they are presented with a reset passord option
However, if they enter the email address and validation code, the system returns the following error:
Sorry, this is not the e-mail associated with your account. Please try again

Can you download my attached file and replace into this file location and see how it goes?

JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easysocial/models/users.php

Note : You have to backup the original file before you replace this file because I was unable to connect with your FTP server.
