Hi guys,

My website users repeatedly told me the verification code is not being sent to their email when they request password resting.I have also checked the link" I forgot my password " and could not receive email. No report also seen in the email activity at the backend. Would you help me please?
Thanks
Hi there,

I have tried to replicate this on your site by creating a new testuser with my email. Then, I clicked the 'I forgot my password' and I did received the email immediately : http://take.ms/VWt09 . I reset my password and I am able to login using the new password. Am I missing anything?

Hello,

The reset password email will not be stored in database because it is immediately sent out to users. However, if you want it to store in database, you can replace the attached file in : ../administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/mailer/mailer.php.

Part of the issue is that when you request a password reset a dialog box is displayed with a field for a verification code. The message indicates that you will receive a code that you need to enter. The actual email that arrives only has a reset link. It does work, but there shouldn't be a screen indicating that a verification code will be sent.
